Joliana + Richard // Vaughan & University of Toronto Wedding

Still trying to get used to this blogging thing. Bare with me. So many blogs to catch up on, so little time. But, I'm so excited to share this special day with you. 

I met Joliana & Rich a year ago at my studio. They instantly stole my heart with their contagious personalities, and Joliana's smile could light up a room. Seriously, just look at her. We hit it off right away, and quickly realized we were a perfect match. Fast forward a few months later, and we did their engagement session. One of my favourite sessions to date. It was such a fun adventure, and I got to know them even better after spending a few hours photographing them. 

Fast forward April 28, 2018, to their perfect wedding day. We started off at their condo, which, might I add, was smothered in Katie Marie Photography photos the minute you walk in. I mean, my work is ALL over their house. My face lit up. That's easily one of my favourite moments as a photographer. Nothing makes me happier than walking into a clients house and seeing how much they value your work. 

Then, we ventured out to St. Ambrose church. Absolutely stunning church. After that, we went to University of Toronto, which was nostalgic for the couple. 

We recreated some photos they had taken years back at the University, and Joliana is actually a U of T alumni, so the location was extra special for her. Also, it was the moment I fell in love with architectural shots and HAD to include all those dreamy historical buildings. Gush.

Finally, we finished off at Da Vinci Banquet Hall, which was something out of a movie. Absolutely stunning banquet hall. The dance party - oh man. What a crowd. The vibes were absolutely amazing, we couldn't get enough. 

Joliana & Rich, thank you so much for trusting me to capture your special day. You have become amazing friends throughout this process and I hold you so close to my heart. I'm so happy for you and I'm blessed I could come along for the journey. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I did taking them.
