Nicole & Brendan // Intimate Boho Backyard Wedding in Tillsonburg

Nicole & Brendan, where to begin. Your personalities are so incredibly contagious and I’ve never loved two humans more than I love you both. Seriously.

This wedding was a bohemian dream from start to finish, and I’m so glad I could have been a part of it. We started off at Nicole’s family home in Tillsonburg, then ventured over to her family-owned farm (VanQuaethem Farms) to use the ropes of beer hops & stunning scenery for their first look. Then, we headed back to Nicole’s family home where they had the ceremony right in their front lawn. And of course, when your family owns a hops farm, you must decorate your ceremony arch with hops. Such a cool touch instead of florals! Loved that they put their own twist on it.

Then, the backyard transformed into the reception site where they partied under the canopy all night, fully equipped with a taco bar. Yes… a taco bar.

Oh, did I mention, they drove around in a vintage VW van all day? Yes, because that happened too. Nicole was also decked out in the most perfect boho style dress & hat combo too… hello dream bride.

I absolutely love backyard weddings, especially when you have a great property like this to host a wedding at. I love that backyard weddings transform your home into a magical spot that will forever hold significance and memories to look back on. Also, can’t go wrong with the laid-back vibes that come along with it too. Sign me up for allllll the backyard/intimate weddings, because I’m hooked.
