Anni + Liam // Intimate Spice Factory Wedding in Hamilton Ontario

The Spice Factory is one of my favourite venues in the Hamilton area. I love the small, intimate & cozy vibes the building has, and you CAN’T go wrong with the gorgeous exposed brick and city loft vibes. An absolute dream venue to photograph at!

A&L are such beautiful souls. Artistic, romantic, and the true definition of love + bliss. It was such an honour getting to know these two throughout their engagement and wedding journey, and this wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect! All the vendors that made this day possible will be tagged below!

Question for the Bride: Why did you choose to marry your partner?

Liam is my best friend. He's honest, loving, fun to be with, and makes me want to be a better person. After working together for a year and half, we began to realize we were meant to be more than the friends we had become, and made the decision to pursue a relationship together. Being with Liam felt like coming home, and I knew very early on that I wanted to be with him forever.

Question for the Groom: Why did you choose to marry your partner?

Anni is my best bud. Everything with her just feels natural. Going from dating, to living together, to proposing felt like a decision I should have made years ago. Anni is caring, smart, and the best partner in crime you could ask for. She keeps me motivated and always looking to improve. When we were planning our trip to the Outer Banks, I knew that there could never be a better life partner than this so I had to lock it down!

How did you meet, and tell me about the proposal!

We met at work, both working in the HR department of an automotive parts manufacturing plant. The proposal took place in Duck, North Carolina, on October 2, 2018. We had been there together on vacation the year before, and have great memories and great friends there. After a dinner of tacos and beer on the boardwalk, we sat down on a dock to watch the sun set. Liam pulled the ring out and said he couldn't wait any longer, and Anni said "Holy cow!"

Quick! Think of a funny story about you two.

Having difficulty thinking of a funny story that will be funny to anyone else... Our relationship is fun, relaxed, honest, and passionate. We love doing things together, like making our own beer, checking out breweries, gardening, playing guitar, travelling together, or just hanging out at home watching The Office or Trailer Park Boys for the millionth time.
