Steph + Mike // Cotton Factory & Waterfall Hamilton Engagement Session
Ohhhh my sweet covid couples. What a year this has been.
These two were supposed to get married this year, but their wedding ended up getting postponed into 2021. Actually, it ended up working out rather well when they picked a new date. The original church they wanted to do the ceremony at was refusing to book them because their new date fell on a religious holiday. So, they ended up booking a church with A LOT more meaning (I believe Mike’s parents got married there?). If you know me, you know I’m a firm believer in everything happens for a reason. Now, they can get married in a church that has family history.
We spent their original wedding date taking these engagement photos. I had actually photographed their proposal a few years ago, so we did somewhat of an engagement shoot back then. As they had an engagement session included in their wedding package, I figured - why not use that session on their original cancelled date and celebrate in our own way. That’s exactly what we did :)
We started at the Cotton Factory then made our way to one of the many Hamilton waterfalls. I LOVE shooting at the Cotton Factory, because I’m a sucker for industrial vibes anytime & any place. Enjoy these shots of these two cuties, and S+M… I can’t wait to celebrate your new wedding date. Everything will work out in the end, and it will be just as magical.
