& i’m here to show you just how beautiful you really are.

I’ll be vulnerable here with you for a second. I’ve been that girl who looked in the mirror and hated what was staring back at me. I’ve felt the pain of self-doubt and self-consciousness, and it’s a really sh*tty place to be. Over the last decade of my life, I can safely say I’ve put in the work to reach a point where I wholeheartedly love myself, imperfections and all. I see myself in a new light, and I recognize how beautiful I am down to the core.

Something that stands out to me as a pivotal point in my life was when a woman, who was many years older than I am, telling me this back when I was in my late teens. “I remember being your age Katie, and feeling so self-conscious. I wish I could go back and give my younger self a hug, and tell her that there will come a day where she loves herself fully, and she stops seeking validation outside, and finds it within. That day will come for you, and it will be so f**king awesome.”

… she was right.

Boudoir photography has always been something that’s called to me, and it’s time I ran full force with it. I’m making it my mission to be a pivotal part in your journey, and help you rediscover the beauty & confidence that lies inside you. I want you to see yourself in a new light, and feel confident in your own skin. My goal when delivering your final gallery of images is to help you realize just how beautiful you truly are, exactly as you are. Because that woman was right, it’s a f**king awesome feeling.

boudoir photography is a very intimate & empowering session, built into an overall luxury experience unlike any other.

The word boudoir is a french word made popular in the 1920’s, meaning “a woman's private sitting room or bedroom”. That’s why, majority of boudoir sessions take place in a bedroom setting. It’s where you get to tap into your own femininity & sexuality, usually by wearing lingerie. My work has been described many times as “classy & romantically sexy" - and that’s the exact approach I take. A classy set of images with hints of mysteriousness.

I wanted to take a different spin on boudoir. I wanted to create an all-around experience, not just a gallery of images. Let’s shift the narrative from “just a photo shoot” to something that will undoubtably change the trajectory of your life. Every single woman that has left my studio looked me in the eyes and said “this is the best decision I’ve ever made, everyone should do this at least once in their life”. Trust me, I’ll show you why.

I’M NOT “READY”

Truth is, you’ll never really “be ready”. Chances are, if you’re reading this, you’ve probably had that battle in your head that went a little something like this…

“Oh, a boudoir session! I’d love to do that.. maybe when I lose 20 pounds.”
“I’m too awkward, I won’t know what to do.”
“I’m too embarrassed.”
“I don’t know how to pose.”

If this sounds like you, I get it. I’ve been there myself. And to be honest, you’ll never fully be ready. Boudoir is one of those things you just have to throw yourself into. If you keep putting it off, you’ll never take the leap. I promise you, when I say you’re in good hands… you are in GOOD HANDS. I know how to take flattering images. I know how to make you look YOUR best, in whatever YOU feel comfortable in. And I can PROMISE, that no one who has booked this type of session has ever regretted it. Not even for one second.

I guide you every step of the way, so you’ll never feel stuck on what to do. I have an entire shot list I run through for each session, walking you through every single pose the entire time.

And besides, it’s a 1 on 1 experience, in my cozy private studio. It almost feels like you’re coming to hang out with a pal for a few hours.

The entire process is about 6 hours in total. Here’s how it works.

1. Arrive at the studio and get pampered.

Greeted with some delicious refreshments, we make you feel at home when you enter the studio. You’ll be able to request any specific makeup look with the makeup artist, and she’ll get to work while you get to relax in the prep chair. The team will be keeping you company as well, and it’s a great opportunity to hang out for an hour and ease your nerves. Trust me, everyone that arrives is hella nervous. The hair/makeup is a great gateway into the session, as you’re not only getting pampered but chatting up a storm to make you feel more at home.

2. We go through your outfits and you can try on anything in the client closet.

Now, I know lingerie can be PRICEY. So, I’ve put together a killer client closet with tons of staple outfits you’re welcome to wear for your session. Currently we have over 500+ pieces, and sizes ranges from XS-5XL and I’m constantly updating it with new and exciting items. We’ll figure out which outfits make the cut and narrow down all selections, including your own if you brought some!

3. We begin the session.

Most of my clients have never done anything like this before. If you have NO idea how to pose, please do not worry one little bit. I walk you through EVERY SINGLE POSE, every step of the way! I’ll be on the ground and all over the place doing them with you the entire time. You do not need ANY experience with posing before you arrive! We’ll do a few different looks/settings and an optional “just the sheets” scene at the end of the session if you’d like. The session portion usually lasts around 1.5 hours.

4. Lunch break!

By now you’re probably starving after working up a sweat in the studio, so you’ll most likely want to go grab a bite to eat! This is where I sneak away to my office and begin editing your photos for the same day reveal. This usually takes about 1 hour, so enjoy a little break while I get to work! There’s some cool shopping districts and coffee shops nearby, or you can always bring your own lunch and relax in the client lounge & watch TV or hang out while I edit. We have a fridge and microwave!

5. We do your image reveal.

WOOOHOO! The most exciting part of the day. You get to see your entire gallery of images up on the TV right after your session! Say what? As an experienced photographer I’m able to edit very quickly at this stage of my career. I edit all of your images and you’ll get to see about 60-100 images ON THE SPOT! They will be edited, but not retouched. I want you to embrace yourself exactly as you are, without any photoshop. If you require any additional retouching OR any specific requests before they go into your album, feel free to let me know! Otherwise, that’s alllllll you up on the screen, queen. You’ll be walking into the studio with uncertainty and a myriad of questions like “can I do this?” “will I look awkward?” and leaving the studio afterwards with comments like “holy sh*t, that was really me?” … I promise.

6. We design your album and figure out which products you want to purchase.

We go over the album & product options and get all of your selections. I’ll help you choose your favourite photos to include, and you can decide if you’d like to upgrade after seeing your images. Payment plans for upgrades are ALWAYS available, so if you see something you love but it’s not in the budget, we can set you up for weekly or monthly payments - interest free! I’ll walk you through everything.

7. Product orders are placed.

Once you leave, I work on any remaining edits/touch-ups, and place the product orders. Any images that are going into the album will have the digitals sent off shortly after your session. If your package includes the full gallery, those will arrive a few weeks after your session - as I need some time to work through them in depth. We’ll keep you in the loop when your product orders arrive and let you know when they’re ready for pick-up!

8. Products arrive, and you’re able to come pick them up!

I’ll let you know when your products arrive and we can set up a time for you to stop by the studio and grab them. On average, products can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks to arrive after the order is placed. If you live far away out of town, there’s always the option to mail the products directly to you! There will be a small postage fee if you decide to go this option.

9. You begin a new chapter of life with immeasurable confidence.

Okay, I had to get a little cheesy here. I swear, this will be the best decision you’ll ever make for yourself. The prices associated with boudoir sessions are in place for a reason, as this isn’t just another photo session. This is something that will transform your entire outlook on yourself - guaranteed. If you’ve struggled with self-love or confidence in the past, this might be the extra boost you didn’t know you needed. Every single woman that has EVER left my studio has repeatedly said “this has changed my life, and it was the best thing I ever did”. If someone handed you a pill that guaranteed extra confidence, would you take it? I sure would.

Let’s face it, how many of us have lost digital images? You get a new computer, your hard drive crashes, you lose the files or accidentally delete them. It happens - more often than not. Printing your images and preserving this empowering time is crucial when it comes to boudoir photography.

I offer many different products ranging from Albums, Metal Prints, Wall Art, Folio Boxes, Matted Prints, Viewfinders & more. There is also an A-La-Carte option where you can further customize your collection.

I want to be transparent with you about the costs associated. Boudoir is a luxury experience, therefore the collections are separate to the session fee. Each collection also includes a set number of digital images, so you’ll have the digital options as well.

PRODUCT COLLECTIONS BEGIN AT $1500

on average, my clients spend typically $2900-$5000 IN TOTAL for their boudoir experience.
