More along the lines of a traditional engagement session. These sessions are curated to the couple, and we can hit up two locations, with two different outfit looks. Connection sessions are a little longer, and offer the flexibility for multiple looks/vibes/locations to really tell your story. What makes your relationship, you? For those looking to get some updated family shots! Sessions can be done in my cozy Hamilton studio, outdoors on location, or in-home (if you live in Hamilton). My approach to family photography is very candid - I want to document you exactly as you are! I want the laughs, the playfulness, the hugs and kisses. These are the moments worth capturing, even if they aren’t perfectly posed. (please note, I do not photograph large extended families. Immediate families & documentary style only).

For all the beautiful mama-to-be’s. I love doing maternity sessions in my studio, but they can also be done outdoors too. If you choose to do the session at my studio, you can use the giant luxe robes and client closet too! (please note, the client closet pieces are only available for sessions taking place at my studio)

I have an entire webpage dedicated to my boudoir work. I offer FULL DAY boudoir sessions, that include professional hair & makeup, use of the client closet (450+ pieces), private fully guided sessions, same day edit & image reveal, and a collection of albums/products to showcase your images. I take pride in offering a luxury boudoir experience to my clients, and I’m extremely proud of my new business venture. — WHY ARE YOU NO LONGER TAKING ON LARGER WEDDINGS?
With the launch of my newest venture Boudoir by Katie Marie, I’ve decided to take on less weddings per year. I’ve also realized that I thrive best in wedding environments that are smaller, intimate & laid back — as they really allow me to capture the love & emotion between two people. You aren’t pulled in a million directions all day, and you don’t have to stop and say hello to every aunt from overseas you’ve never met before. The day should be about you two, and intimate weddings allow me the creative freedom to truly document your love, without the chaos of a larger, more demanding wedding timeline.

— WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BOOK?
A signed contract is required for all bookings. For regular sessions, a non-refundable retainer of $100 is required to book and secure your date. For weddings & elopements, a $1000 non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date.

— DO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF HAMILTON?
Currently I’m not taking on any bookings outside of the Hamilton area. Depending on the location we may be able to make it work, however travel fees will apply.

— DO WE NEED A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
Second photographers are awesome additions to help capture your day. They allow us to be in two places at once, and get different angles/views throughout your day. However, I have photographed countless weddings on my own and am fully capable of photographing by myself, too.

— WHAT DO WE WEAR, CAN YOU HELP?
Yes! For all regular sessions, you’ll receive a style prep guide with ideas on what to wear for your session. At the end of the day, wear something that you feel comfortable in - that’s all that matters!

— HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
For weddings, there’s no limit - I send all the best ones from the day. On average, it’s about 100 per hour. For regular sessions, your gallery will have anywhere from 60-150 images. If your package is limited to a set number of digitals, you’ll be able to pick your favs and purchase extras right through the gallery. All images are sent off fully edited. No raw files will be given under any circumstance.

— HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
Wedding turnaround time is up to 16 weeks, regular sessions are up to 8 weeks. I aim to deliver your images much sooner than this, however it depends on the season. (ex. the later you get into wedding season, the longer the turnaround times can get)
