M&C had a beautiful intimate ceremony at the Cockpit Theatre at Dundurn Castle in Hamilton. I’ll be honest, I’ve photographed at Dundurn hundreds of times HOWEVER, never went inside this building. This was my first time seeing the inside and I was blown away at how beautiful it is. The rustic stone walls, the wood accents, the giant skylight - it was stunning. Who knew this beautiful piece of history was so close to home AND the perfect ceremony spot.

Things got steamy in the waterfall during this engagement session. L&B, this was an adventure of a lifetime and I loved every second of it!

A night in Paris… and no, not Paris France. Although, this cute little town could easily pass as just that. Come along and see what this adorable city nighttime engagement session looked like!

Waterfall engagement sessions are the bomb. I’ve photographed at this spot hundreds of times and it never gets old, seriously. I’d share all of the waterfall galleries on here, but that might get a little repetitive :’)

I have never seen a love so beautiful, pure, raw, and mesmerizing until I met Andrea and Steven.

The sparkle in their eyes as they talk about each other, and the breathtaking vows they said at the ceremony. Oh, those sweet, beautiful vows. To this day, I still can’t read or listen to them without crying.

Suzanne wanted to honour her Vietnamese culture by wearing the traditional Vietnamese outfits during the reception at their wedding. They changed right at the end of the night - so we barely had time to take photos in the outfit. Only getting a few quick shots on the wedding day, we decided to do a “post-wedding” session, where they got to throw the traditional outfits back on and have a PROPER photo session.

Jocelyn & Steven kicked off my 2019 with an epic couples sesh out in Dundas. We started off at one of my favourite spots, Detour Cafe, then ventured through the Art Gallery, and finished off in a forest nearby. We wanted some urban vibes mixed with winter & nature, and that’s exactly what we got.

I met Joliana & Rich a year ago at my studio. They instantly stole my heart with their contagious personalities, and Joliana's smile could light up a room. Seriously, just look at her. We hit it off right away, and quickly realized we were a perfect match.

There's so many beautiful things I get to experience with my job. But one thing that will never get old, is being able to document a proposal. 

The emotions are so raw. The adrenaline is high, and normally I'm keeping this secret from one half of the session and have to bring my CSI liar skills to the table (sorry Erin). Whether I'm helping the groom-to-be plan the proposal from the get-go, or they spring it on me spur of the moment during the shoot, it will never get old.
