Will I be able to use the client closet?
Partially! You’ll be able to use certain props that can be sanitized, however you won’t be able to wear any lingerie pieces this time. Please bring your own outfits! I’ll send you a prep guide of what to shop for beforehand, so you’ll know what to bring! Usually a black bodysuit will suffice :)
Why can’t I use the lingerie pieces in the client closet?
The reason I can’t let you use the lingerie in the closet for this specific event is because there’s no way to sanitize outfits in-between sessions. Lingerie needs to be washed after use, and there’s no quick way to do so. Also, as these sessions are booked back-to-back and crammed into full days, we just don’t have enough time to let everyone try on client closet outfits. Same goes for sizing, what if everyone that books happens to be a size L? There won’t be enough options for all the others if everything is already in the laundry. It’s just too tricky to incorporate the lingerie into the mini sessions, so I ask that you bring 1 or 2 outfits you LOVE, and rock those! It can be something as simple as a black bodysuit or black two piece, and then use some props to spice it up!
What are the props that ARE allowed to be used from the client closet?
You can basically use anything that doesn’t need to go into the laundry after use. Things that can be sanitized on the spot, such as the giant angel wings, luxury robes, body jewelry, harnesses, crowns, masks, set props.. etc. Most of those items can be sprayed down with lysol or disinfectant before the next person uses it, so all of those items are included for use during your session! (a gothic halloween angel with the giant wings and some fake blood… WHAT A VIBE!)
Why can’t we use the other sets at the studio? Are we limited to just the halloween set?
Yes, you are limited to just the halloween set. Again, as these are limited edition sessions, the cost of these are split in half as they are not full day events like a standard boudoir session. In order to keep costs low, and offer themed shoots like this, I have to remove some of the other elements. If you’d like to book a full boudoir session instead, and get ALL the perks (including a same day image reveal), let me know!
Does the session fee include hair AND makeup?
No, at this time we have chosen to take the hair portion out of the session fee, simply for time constraints. As we are booking a high volume of sessions per day, the hair is an extra step that eats up a lot of time. For the limited edition sessions, we are asking that you come with your hair done prior to starting your makeup. I do have some hot tools at the studio if you need to touch up your hair before we begin shooting, otherwise please come with your hair styled to your own preference :)
Are the sessions private?
Yes! Always. However, you may cross paths with other clients in our lobby during a marathon day like this one. As the sessions are booked back to back, we start your makeup in the lobby area while I’m in another session with another client. So, you WILL most likely be running into other clients in the lobby - HOWEVER, the shoot itself is totally private, in a separate room with a door. When we go into the session itself, it’ll just be you & me (and my possibly assistant if she’s with me that day). Everything else happens in the lobby!
How do I get to see my final images?
After your session, I’ll be working on editing these fairly quickly to have them done with as much time before halloween as possible. You are welcome to come back to the studio on a separate day for your viewing/ordering session, or we can do a virtual viewing/ordering session via Zoom. If you choose the package that includes the full gallery of digital images, you can get your fully edited gallery sent to you RIGHT away, and choose the photos for the album yourself from home (another perk of going with the full gallery package).
How many final images will I get to see?
On average, you should see at least 50-100 edited image proofs from your Halloween session, if not more.
Are the images retouched/fully edited?
The proofing images will not be fully retouched until they are purchased. Any purchased images, and images that are going into the album, will be fully edited/retouched. The retouching process does NOT alter your body at all, we just do a quick smoothing and blemish removal (anything that isn’t permanent, such as pimples/bruises, will be removed in the final images). The images you will see at your reveal are only colour corrected.
How does the payment process work?
The session fee is due at the time of your booking, and is considered the non-refundable retainer to hold your session in the calendar. You will be able to build the rest of your invoice and choose any add-ons at the time of booking, and the remainder of your invoice must be paid in full prior to the start of your session. No exceptions. You are welcome to upgrade your package option on the day of your session, and pay off the balance on a post-session payment plan afterwards.
I’ve chosen my products and built my invoice, but I’d like to upgrade. Can I do so?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to upgrade your package and/or album at any point. Especially after your viewing session, if you end up loving all of the images (plot twist, you will), you can always upgrade to one of the other packages to get the full gallery as well.
What is the minimum purchase price?
As digitals are purchased separately, the MINIMUM cost for a Halloween Limited Edition Boudoir Session is $949+hst. This is based off of the ONE set option, and lowest digital image collection (10 images). Most clients last year opted for an album & full digital collection (roughly $1550+hst and up).
